Van Nuys CA freight action

A bit more Van Nuys action for you San Fernando Valley fans. Was picking up my mom on the 16th and dropping her back off on the 17th.

First is on 11/16 the LOF41 Day Bud heads down the yard lead to the Budweiser plant with a GP40-2/GP38-2 combo.

Next two images are of the Oil Cans on 11/17.

I have a retired engineer friend who always flew American Flags on this units, but I bet he never flew one as big as the one in the first picture.

So does the UP still pull boxcars from the AB brewery as mentioned in your first photo? Or do the only handle the raw materials? There is another current thread suggesting that all of the product is now shipped out by truck.
