It's a state on the West coast, also known as California.

Tough crowd... not a single thank you... so I'll say it, even if I might not catch the train.

We don't get locomotives with pretty colors like that very often here in "Cali." :-)

Headed for STOIMF, so I'm guessing Stockton, after 5pm.

Power made it passed Barstow. At or passed Tehachapi now.

Us up in Oregon call your state Cali on a regular basis. In the OP's defense, I've heard that term used all across the US in my travels.

But ya, tough crowd. If I post a heads up here, I try to overdo the info. I'll admit to feeling a little vindicated when they can't find anything wrong with my post! It's not like all the extra info hurts, and it saves me any issues with the thread police.

It was 1600 when I was able to get out of class and started heading to Winslow in an atempt to catch them leaving at last light; until I realized they had a setout there...Oh well, hopefuly I can get them going east.

People in other states call us Cali. We don't. Cali is a city in Columbia.

Reminds me of how a lot of the world says Oregon. They say OreGONE. 

I didn't think foreign units could lead out here in BNSF PTC territory, unless of course they are PTC equipped?

Has pretty much cut down on anything but orange leading here in Northern Cali.
