After meeting the LOF66 (6) at Devon siding (Casmalia CA.) and a quick crew change the loaded WB Herzog ballast train grinds its way toward the crest of Shuman Hill on the Coastline.

According to radio chatter, they took the DPUs off at Los Angeles.

The dispatcher thought the train still had the DPUs and that caused some confusion at Santa Barbara.
