Western Railroad Discussion > few on the road home . . .Date: 01/07/17 17:47 few on the road home . . . Author: 3rdswitch . . . have'nt had much good weather on the road home from MS but did catch a few things along the way. A couple of days ago spent the night in Beaumont checking a few places out before leaving town. Caught a westbound UP coming off the very tall Neches River bridge into downtown Beaumont (top) then checked out the Port of Beaumont interchange yard catching a job returning to the security of the port facility with some boxcar business (middle) just north of downtown along the river and this afternoon on the road home following the BNSF Ft Worth Sub stopped to catch a southbound BNSF coal load passing over the west siding switch of Herman siding with the old BN sign still in place (bottom).
