Western Railroad Discussion > Snake in the tall grassDate: 01/12/17 06:51 Snake in the tall grass Author: santafe199 This is one of the last trains I would shoot in the fading light of 2016.
1. & 2. BNSF 3776 slithers up through a swag under the old US hwy 50 overpass west of Lebo, KS. Looking like a snake-in-the-grass this unit tank train is approaching… 3. …and passing over the Contour Rd crossing. Date: 01/12/17 06:52 Re: Snake in the tall grass Author: santafe199 Just one more…
4. BNSF 6755 is the DP unit rolling west into late remnants of solar illumination for 2016. (4 photos taken west of Lebo, KS in December 31, 2016) Thanks for looking! Lance Garrels santafe199 Date: 01/12/17 07:07 Re: Snake in the tall grass Author: eatontm Wicked light! Starting to feel like it's been a long time since a sunny clear sky.

of the tele in the first two. LOVE the glint in the last one. And love your prose, too. NICE work! Date: 01/12/17 10:55 Re: Snake in the tall grass Author: SCUfoamer Shot 2! I love seeing the shadows in the cab. Adds a great deal of life to the photo.

(chuckling) Ohhh... during my 32 years in train service I may have mentioned RR officials snooping around from weed-level with certain choice descriptions now & then. (Maybe just a couple of times. Maybe... :^) But if I used the term "snake", I do humbly apologize to the entire snake population on this planet... (heh heh heh) :^) Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/12/17 12:18 by santafe199.
