Sierra storms a'coming!!!
Author: djansson

First of THREE storms now hitting the Sierra. Sac Intl airport just had 53 mph gust and trees are coming down hither and yon. Snow in the Sierra down to
4000 feet and I-80 shut down between Applegate and Nevada state line. There are two more storms forecast for Friday and Sunday.
UP on Donner must be an "All Hands On Deck" mess!

Major amounts of precip coming down today in California. These storms oughta end the current drought from about Bakersfield northward.

Now if Lake Cachuma and the Santa Barbara area could finally get their share. It's the only spot in the state thats still showing exceptional drought, although the new drought monitor map comes out in 12 hours.
