Don't Waste a Good Day in January

Had an appointment that ended about one yesterday and couldn't help but notice what a great day it was!  Why not see what was going on with the local railroad scene? The first view is BNSF 4122 & 662 bringing a mixed freight into Lincoln, NE on the St. Joe sub.  UP usually has a train coming into town early to mid afternoon on Wednesdays so I took a chance on seeing that and got several shots of 1808 and 2100 coming into town.  The leftmost track is BNSF's line to industries in an industrial park north of airport.  The other 3 are UP with the far right track being the main track.  (more)
