I spent the morning in Quenemo, KS. hoping for a little peace and quiet. I drive a Special Needs school bus during the week. My kids had a hard week and I was pooped by Friday so I went to the middle of no where to recharge. From 8:30 to 1:30 I saw 21 trains and I don't know how many hawks. It was just a great day and now I'm ready for my kids on Monday.
One of the first trains by was a EB Boeing train pulled by BNSF 1400, an ex-BN SD60 white face.
Later along came 2 old ATSF war bonnets in the line up.
Next was another with a lot of color. BNSF, KCS and CP.
I also caught one of the GE Tier 4 demo's as well as a CREX lease unit.
Had a great day and ready for duty again. Thanks for looking.

I know this spot fairly well... had a couple of adventures on the dirt road that runs alongside the tracks east of this crossing.
