They just had one east of Pendleton, OR and a bad one in a tunnel around Joso, WA on the Spokane-Hinkle line.
Tragically, a Spokane-based conductor was also killed at Wallula earlier this week. This has been one crappy winter... About the conductor killed outside of Pasco WA, have a friend who works doing the same for BNSF at Pasco didnt have a RR name at first and the worry set in. Its terrable and this time of year its also hard to do that type of work safe due to the ice. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/04/17 07:45 by BAB. They got a Soda Ash train last time. I wonder if this has something to do with DPU's on long trains, or track conditions?
