An Abridged Day On The BNSF
Author: Ritzville

Today started out in frozen pea soup fog and finally to 300pm sunshine and partly cloudy in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was 39/28. Due to being under the weather I abbreviated the day with just a few trains. There was a three hour MoW work window from 1000am to 1pm with light afternoon traffic. Took most of the pictures from the open back door, so I wouldn't be out in the cold. Hope the relapsed bug leaves soon. Here are my abridged catches of the day.

1. EB 921am auto train with BNSF 5532-H1 1097 on the point with DPU.
2. Older blue GT auto rack rolling in same train. I like the fallen flag cars.
3. Older SP auto rack without graffiti rolling in same train.

6. EB 957am auto train with BNSF 7404-7225 on the pull, no DPU.

10. The end of same train with a BNSF crane.
11. WB 325pm "Z" train with BNSF 4108 on the very point. It was a rather short train.

This may be it since there are no trains close by. Hope everyone has a great evening and tomorrow. Thank you so much for looking!

Larry, you sure hit the jackpot on autoracks.  Some weather beaten veterans there.
