On 3/4/2017 the GCR will be using a steam locomotive to pull it's train to th canyon with a diesel helper.
The diesel is used for help on the hills and HEP if so equipped.

That's their Steam Saturday event. Now that winter is (somewhat) coming to an end, they run the steam locomotive on the first Saturday of every month.
