OK this is weird.  I posted the link above thread a few days ago that happened last Saturday on the KCS north of Texarkana.  Now six days later this article appears online. Why are they posting it again is strange. And some of the descriptions used in there story are crazy. Small town, must have nothing better to report. See link below:  Train rider said to unbolt cars

It appears that this website carries news for the entire state of Arkansas. If you have not done so yet read the crime stories posted on the left side of the site...classics.

For what it's worth, speaking of Arkansas, that is the ONLY state that I have ever seen road signs that state, "BRIDGE MAY BE ICY  IN WINTER". May give some indication of the education/retention level in that state?

The ice forms when it's raining but wind flowing over/under the bridge causes water on the bridge to freeze. The locals know about it. The sign is for supergeniuses from up north who may not be aware. :-)

Black ice on a bridge is NOT a "local" condition. We even get it in Southern California a couple of times a year when we get the cold storms from the Gulf of Alaska.

NOT in the Spring, summer, or fall, does it?
