Western Railroad Discussion > UP Varnish in Kansas CityDate: 03/21/17 20:21 UP Varnish in Kansas City Author: bnsfsd70 Thanks to a few timely heads-ups I received on facebook, and the fact that I'm on Spring Break right now, I was able to get out to KC today for some railfanning.
In these shots, we see the UP 8909 lugging the PMKCB2-21 down the Omaha Main in Kansas City, on its way to the Falls City Sub for Council Bluffs. The clouds were a bummer, but I was happy to get the shot, as best as I could regardless of the conditions. In photo 2, take note of the guy on the right at MWT Bulk Services that's hopping off of the front-end loader that they were using as their in-plant switcher. Just had it chained to the coupler, dragging it around the property. Thanks for looking, - Jeff Carlson Date: 03/22/17 16:07 Re: UP Varnish in Kansas City Author: texchief1 Nice shots!
