Winterail Photo Ops, before and after
Author: DelMonteX

1)  As most who know about Winterail are aware of, there was an excursion on the Albany and Eastern on Friday.   I opted to take one shot of it as it headed north after leaving Sweethome on it’s way back to Lebanon.
2)  I was getting the “evil-eye” from these four lasses while waiting for the train.
3)  Later in the day a P & W job left the mill at Halsey, light engine, and we headed for the street running.  Here it is entering Harrisburg

4)  It might have been raining a bit.
5)  Further south in Junction City there was a bit more traffic on the street.
6)  Cherry blossoms lend some color to this scene

7)  The city water supply tower’s over the Dallas.
8)  Yep, couldn’t wait 20 seconds.
9)  Back up in Albany, the Toledo Hauler is crossing the trestle at the local golf course, headed for Ashair, where it will tie down for the next crew.

10)  On Sunday the first moving train I found was in Portland with Mt Hood as a backdrop.
11 & 12)  Finally, further north on the Seattle Sub north of Kalama I caught this Grainer from the bluffs above the Columbia and Cowlitz Rivers.

He probably didn't even see the engine coming.  I have been paying attention to people crossing tracks and many of them don't appear to look.
