Western Railroad Discussion > WB at Elba, UTDate: 03/25/17 16:27 WB at Elba, UT Author: trb I chased the the CWEIP-22 (West Elk mine, CO to Intermountain Power, UT) Friday afternoon. I had a specific location I was heading for, but had the opportunity to stop for a bonus shot.
When I chased BNSF's HPVODEN1-15A with the Utah Railway MK50-3s about a week and a half ago, I drove into East Elba since the train had to wait for #5 there. Despite the number of years I have been photographing trains in eastern Utah, that day was the first time I was at East Elba. I made the mental note there was potential for a shot of a WB. So on Friday, I had the chance to get a shot of a WB approaching East Elba. Thanks for looking. Todd Busse Date: 03/25/17 16:29 Re: WB at Elba, UT Author: KansasRailHead OutStanding

Brian Stevens Date: 03/25/17 20:52 Re: WB at Elba, UT Author: trb T,
I had not thought about that, but it is ironic. There has been at least one set of IPPX cars in the WE rotation for quite a while as I recall getting an IPPX train on the North Fork last summer.
