Western Railroad Discussion > Question about SE Kansas train countsDate: 03/27/17 08:42 Question about SE Kansas train counts Author: mamfahr Hell all,
I'm looking for a ballpark estimate of the number of trains that operate, on average, during a 24-hour period on each of the mainlines in the SE Kansas area. Specifically, I'm looking for information on these: - UP x-MKT line (southbound) through Parsons - UP x-MOP line (mainly northbound) through Coffeyville - BNSF x-SLSF through Girard, Columbus and Miami - KCS through Pittsburg and Neosho. I'm mainly interested in the count of all trains during a typical 24-hour period on each line, however, if someone has the information handy, I'd be interested in seeing the train counts broken down by train type (coal, frac sand, manifest, etc). I don't need detailed info such as symbols. Thanks a lot for the help. Mark |
