Western Railroad Discussion > Last H2 PaintDate: 03/28/17 08:16 Last H2 Paint Author: ntharalson I got to thinking aout this recently while trackside in Savanna, IL. What was the last locomotive
delivered new in H2 paint. I'm thinking, I know, highly dangerous thinkg to do, that it was one of the early 7700 Gevo's. Just curious. And yes, there's still a lot of H2 out there. Nick Tharalson, Marion, IA Date: 03/28/17 09:12 Re: Last H2 Paint Author: SantaFe9820 Just a guess here, but seeing as 7695 (golden swoosh) is the first one to get the wedge, could 7694 be the last H2?

That particular order ended with 7743, and 7744 was the first unit of the next order, which came in the new logo, so I believe the answer to the question is BNSF 7743.
The only exception would be if that order came in from high to low, but I don't think it did. ~wko |
