A Filthy GE GEVO and A Spotless EMD Tier-4

Union Pacific's Milwaukee Subdivision can always provide some interesting things...

1. An absolutely filthy Union Pacific GE AC45CCTE was leading a patched former Southern Pacific AC4400CW on a coal load past O'Hare on 4/17/2017.

2. An absolutely spotless Union Pacific EMD SD70ACe-T4 was the DPU on an empty WPEX coal empty the next day.

You never know what will appear outside around here...

Nice catch including a DC-10 taking off. Don't see too many of those anymore.

Agreed with Tom, Nice photos as well as the DC-10 in the 2nd photo. It has been a long time since I have seen one taking off.

Must be a freight DC-10, I don't think any are used for passenger anymore.

Possibility a FedEx DC10. Those SD70ACeT4 units look nice.

Officially an "MD-10", a DC-10 that has had an avionics upgrade (same avionics as the MD-11) to support two person operation (eliminating the flight engineer)...

Also they will all be bye bye in 2020, after they get their 767's and 777's...

After doing some quick research, Fedex has about 39 total DC10 all of the listed as MD10 on their operating roster.
