Western Railroad Discussion > A Little Orange Along the River

With all the recent rain the Upper Mississippi Valley has received lately we have a bumper crop of weeds, everywhere including along the BNSF mains south of La Crosse (WI). So with a nice parade of east-bounds Friday morning I ventured down to Victory for the show. BNSF 3915 and the Z PTLCHC swings through one of many curves along the River. I moved about a quarter mile south for the first of two Vehicle trains. BNSF 8321 charged past with about 60 tri-levels in tow. The sun came out in force for the BNSF 3727 and the O LAWGAL, the Employee Appreciation Special running to Galena (IL) to give all the emergency and first responders a ride.

BNSF 5535 brings up the rear of the O LAWGAL Friday morning as the BNSF 8023 leads the second Vehicle train past Victory WI. BNSF 4520 along the Trainorder's very Iron Horse (nice wave by the way) hustle the Z SSECHC towards Chicago as the clouds take over for a while.

My last train for Friday was the H NTWKCK running as the BNSF 8784, NS 3675, KCS 4186 and the GECX 2034 in DPU. This was just south of La Crosse WI.
