Train vs car north of Salem, OR

A UP freight hit a car at the crossing of NE Brooklake Road near the town of Brooks just north of Salem, Oregon about 8:40 pm last night. The car was dragged about 100 yards. The jaws-of-life were needed to extract the driver who was injured but survived. Police said that "alcohol was involved." Photo by Marion Country Fire Department.
