NWP and SMART bridges

A recent trip on the Petaluma River and a crew was working on the approach to the Black Point swing bridge.

We got a lift at Haystack Landing. This span came from Galveston, so I read. The bridge operator checks with SMART DS before a lift.

Another lift at Haystack for the downbound cruise.

Both were swing bridges. Now Haystack is a bascule type.
