844 arrives in Denver!
Author: upheritage6

Yesterday, UP 844 lead the Cheyenne Frontier Days train south to Denver in preparation for the run tomorrow. I stopped at Riverside Cemetery along the BNSF Brush Subdivision to see maybe a train or two to pass time. one BNSF coal empty showed up. Then I went to Adams hold to witness 844 arriving. I got a few shots of 844 at a few different crossings.
1) BNSF 6105 is in charge of a Powder river bound empty coal drag near Riverside Cemetery.
2) UP 844 slowing to a stop at Adams hold.
3) UP 844 chuffs its way to York St before turning on the wye.
more to come...

4) The Cheyenne Frontier Days train negotiates the first leg of the wye.
5) A little something interesting. Looks like someone doesn't like trains a lot!
Thanks for looking!

The delivery pipe can be located by finding the "arrow".

I'm assuming you mean the fuel delivery pipe?

Funny thing I noticed every time I see 844, the bell always creates a round shadow (obviously) right above the headlight where the mars light would be, so its almost like a "ghost" of the mars light.

Looks like a target arrow. I am sure some one was shooting while the 844 went by, missed target and bounced up.....

.....or were they??? Guys in green vests make excellent targets...
