Don't you just love that? Spoked wheels and if you look inside the truck sideframes, you can tell those were built for the wider Russian gauge. === === = === JLH

Translated to English this becomes 2 dummy axles, 4 powered articulated with 4 powered axles then 2 dummy axles. 406,000 lbs weight on drivers of 546,000 lbs total locomotive weight. There are 8 GE model 750 traction motors.

The weight numbers were what the locomotives were built as. The MILW added concrete ballast to the roofs under the pantographs to try to make the locomotives less slippery. This would increase both builders plate figures.

I just appreciate that they went to the effort to erect a section of wire, so that the pans have something to contact! It looks much better that way.

The display keeps improving, they dug the caboose out of the dirt at the end of the yard and did a nice
resto on it as well, we MILW fans much appreciate the effort.
