Saturday's Traffic On The BNSF--MRL
Author: Ritzville

It was another hot day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 90/57. Traffic was steady with lots of grain trains. I omitted a few grain train pictures due to sameness. Here are some of the trains that passed by today a few from yesterday.

7/21/2017

1. WB 522pm grain train with BNSF 6742-8229 on the point with DPU and a friendly wave from the hogger.
2. WB 633pm manifest train with BNSF 4376-7468 on the pull.
3. EB 705pm manifest train with BNSF 4375-H1 1117, MRL 255-251 and BNSF 4831 on the point.

Another 15 to go.

Nice Series from the Backyard!  Like those MRL locomotives.  Something more than just Pumpkins!

I caught that Sounder cab car when the train rolled through Beatrice. I knew it was in transit somewhere, but I wasn't expecting to see it.

I've been in the area for a couple of days. There's certainly no shortage of grain trains.

Larry, seems those Grainers are really adding to the volume in the backyard.  Got to love that volume!

Thanks everyone! You're right Christina, the grain trains make for lots of traffic. Just wish there would be some foreign power at times. All Orange has been the name of the game lately, lol.
