Western Railroad Discussion > Burger NightDate: 07/26/17 10:04 Burger Night Author: twjurgens Tuesday night is burger night with grandkids and usually means a little railfanning afterword this time of year.
First up was a coal empty 2 miles west of Ashland, NE powered by 6408 & 5897 leading (botched that shot) and 9080 & 6023 dpu's. Then headed back toward Waverly and caught 5460, 6382, & 9147 with a grain train. Noticed a green signal for an eastbound so headed back to Greenwood for another attempt at getting a shot at the signals east of there. This guy was really moving along but I got there in time to get the third shot. 5062, 4681, and 4492 were power on this eastbound grain train.
