BNSF Test Train to Raton
Author: bnsfsd70

This morning, I went down to the BNSF yard in Topeka and found the D TOPLAJ1 pulling out of town with a pair of EMD P4's, a pair of Tier IV's and the newly-renovated test cars, "Canyon Diablo and Kootenai River."

This train is headed west for La Junta, CO and testing along Raton Pass.

The consist was as follows:

BNSF 7323
BNSF 3869
EMDX 1603
BNSF 8504
BNSF 8510
BNSF 1604
BNSF 83
BNSF 82

Thanks for looking,
- Jeff Carlson

Looks like they're testing the T4P4's? Sweet lashup nonetheless

By "modern fire train," I'm assuming you're making some sort of joke about the LNG equipment? Yeah, that stuff is back there.
