Western Railroad Discussion > Sherman Hill - The Final InstallmentDate: 10/16/17 11:45 Sherman Hill - The Final Installment Author: cinder My trip out west in early September provided me with six hours on UP's Sherman Hill in WY.....in two-hour installments. There were 8 trains in two hours at the Hermosa Tunnels; 6 trains in two hours at Dale Jct.; and 7 trains in two hours at the Monument Rd. crossing just east of Dale Jct. The always windy weather yielded peek-a-boo sunshine.
!. Daybreak caresses an eastbound intermodal. 2. A meet just east of the crossing. 3. The "Arrow Wedge" cuts the wind. Date: 10/16/17 17:51 Re: Sherman Hill - The Final Installment Author: SouthWestRailCams |
