Author: oklachaser Yesterday morning me & SCKP187 went over to Van Buren, AR to get some photos of UP 1943 that was on display. It was tied down by the yard office which is on the West side of the yard. I did take some pics there but it was on the dark side of the train. Thanks to a heads-up from a TO member we learned that it was going to depart VB for Council Bluffs in the daylight hours. So after getting a few pics at the yard we made our way back over to Oklahoma to wait on it to pass thru. 5 hrs later we got it at Gore, OK. Here are the shots that I got.
