I caught this speedy small intermodal by accident this afternoon while I was waiting for an EB manifest to leave the UP Nampa yard.
The manifest in the yard had given a couple of toots and started to move, so I headed to my favorite shooting location east of the yard and waited.
But, it didn't come.
As I was about to give up, I heard the detector east of Kuna @ 443.1 light up and knew it had to be a WB, so I stuck around.
I then realized the manifest was probably being held for a higher priority train to clear the single tracks east of Kuna.
Within minutes, it arrived at track speed with 178 axles and began slowing for the Nampa Yard.
Interesting mix of cargo with a wide variety of containers, including some XPO Logistics (who are they?), with a few TOFC on the rear.
And, a nice horn salute from the crew too!
I didn't wait around for the manifest in the yard to depart eastward.

XPO Logistics is the old Conway which I understand goes back to Consolidated Freightways. XPO shots were posted many times on TO a few years back when this all went down.

Yeah, XPO is Pacer + Conway, as I understand it.

Train is probably a ZKCBR (Kansas City - Brooklyn, OR).
