Why do the ex Burlington Northern units have the "brow" and the ex Santa Fe units don't?

MAYBE FOR ptc?

If these GP50's are being rebuilt, they should all have Positive Train Control installed in them. ATSF units seem to not get the "brow" and it seems BN units do get the "brow". Corrections are welcome.

What's written under 3111's number?

One thing I've noticed is, for some reason, the sides of the headlights aren't repainted in these rebuilds. It's an easy way to tell what former owner they're from.

I don't know about the ex-Santa Fe GP50s specifically, but I have seen a photo floating around facebook of an ex-Santa Fe unit in blue and yellow with the "brow"

I noticed 3111 had an A/C unit on top of the cab. The other's don't seem to have.

All three have an A/C unit on top. The other 2 are surrounded by what appears to be PTC equipment, which it appears that 3111 does not have since it is apparantly setup for remote control which I am purely guessing that it would not need PTC equipment if it is in yard service only.
