Former Great Northern "Empire Builder" high-window bar lounge observation car 1292 Going-to-the-Sun Mountain is on it's way from Kansas City to it's new home in Winlsow, AZ on the rear of a Kansas City-Belen, NM BNSF manifest due to arrive in Belen sometime tomorrow the 5th. From Belen to Winslow tentatively on the 6th or 7th. Not sure if the car is properly pointed or not (with round end to the rear) but any photos of the car from TO members while en route would be much appreciated.

I'll bet it's going to the La Posada.

Allan is doing great things there.

It is going to the siding at the La Posada, but as a tenant. The car is not owned by the people at the La Posada.

What state is La Posada located...California, Arizona?!?

The La Posada Hotel is the former Harvey House in Winslow, AZ.

This car arrived at the CSX yard in Avon, IN overnight. Anyone have any info on where it's going? Shows that it came to CSX via the BNSF from Winslow, AZ but shows a destination of Rose Lake, IL which is where it arrived at before being forwarded on to Avon...

Rose Lake is the St. Louis area. Wonder if it is going to Gateway Rail In Madison, IL but overshot the Mark by a bit?
