Western Railroad Discussion > Cold Temperatures Have Returned On A Busy Sunday

After having Spring like temps in Winter for over a month, the cold North wind blew in at 20+mph all day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was 35/25. With the wind it felt like 25 all day. I'm sure people from the upper Midwest and East are laughing about the so-called cold weather, lol. Traffic was busy today. Here are some of the trains from today and one from Friday.

1. WB 339pm grain train with BNSF 4790-H1 1102-5163 on the point with DPU.
2. Another shot of BNSF H! 1102 on same train.
3. BNSF H1 1100 in the head-end mix of EB 428pm grain train.

Looks like on the westbound Z train (Z-CHCPTL9) that UPS Portland traffic has returned to the BNSF.
