Western Railroad Discussion > From Cold Sun To Heavy Snow On The BNSFDate: 02/14/18 16:03 From Cold Sun To Heavy Snow On The BNSF Author: Ritzville Woke up to 4 inches of snow on the ground and still falling and ending up with sunshine in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high/low was 37/29 with 4 inches of heavy snow. It was a heavy shoveling this morning. We got spoiled with the Spring type weather of January. Today's snow put a damper on location shots. Here are the catches from today and three from yesterday. What a difference a day makes, lol.
2/13/2018 1. WB 341pm grain? train with BNSF 4698-5675 on the point with DPU. 2. Same train consisted of all of these NOKL cars. Maybe plastic pellets? 3. DPU BNSF 5799 on same train. 5. WB 446pm intermodal train with BNSF 5179 and CP 9424 on the point. 2/14/2018 6. Looking out from patio at 900am this morning. What a difference from yesterday.
