Taken from the Business Hwy 87 overpass downtown Cheyenne August 25 2008.. I doubt this shot is possible now with the installation of chain link fencing along the sidewalk....

You are correct in that a shot like that is no longer available with the new fencing installed on the overpass. Great photos of an everyday scene in front of the old depot.

That depends on how big the openings are in the fence. I have taken shots through chain link that, after cropping, turned out fine.
When the Oak Creek Overpass was built in Mojave over the UP Yard, I asked the county to install a couple of viewports, which they did. Works fine except for the dimwits who park on a bridge
frequented by loaded cement trucks...

Its not chain link, its a slatted fencing. You probably can get a camera lens through that to take shots.

What happened to the Safety Award Shield on the left  side of UP 9405? It's on the right side. upkpfan
