It was a partly cloudy to cloudy warmish day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was a mild 62/38. Rain is on the way for tonight and tomorrow morning. The MoW army hit the backyard today on both sides of the mainline. We'll see how long they stay this time. Traffic was fairly steady with a couple of lulls. Here are the catches from today a a couple from yesterday.

1. WB 426pm grain train with BNSF 4399-4751 on the point with DPU and a friendly wave from the hogger.
2. DPU CREX 1343 on same train.
3. BNSF H1 1088 in the head-end mix of WB 527pm grain train.

Next time you are trackside and see some of those "patched" Pacer containers, please post close-ups of some of them. I am particularly interested in their reporting marks, who now owns them. We were discussing where I work what would happen to the older Pacer containers, if would they be sold or scrapped. Looks like they found a buyer/lessor. I also have a bunch of HO scale Pacer containers and it suggests a modeling opportunity.

Reported on another thread, the old Pacer boxes running on BNSF in Calif. were COFC containers.
