Vail AZ, UP dead in tow engines

Dear TOs, I took this photo Febuary 26. It appears most of the UP stored locos have been taken out of storage in the Vail area, does anyone have any info that could be added. TIA robert

First two are the working power. The other wide-noses MIGHT be
going to a shop to be put back into service. The standard-cab
GE's probably going to GE as part of that Dash 8 selloff.

Four days before your video, ble692 started this thread ( https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,4493533,4494008#msg-4494008 ) noting that UP had reactivated at least one of those standard cabs. Hopefully he will chime in and clarify what the fate is for all of the Dash 8s in your video.

I tried to get more pics of the stored power. I also tried to find out when the connection of the siding to mainline was eliminated was it a bridge or under I-10?

UP 9227 says going to CNRR via Memphis for scrap at Progress rail.
