It was another beautiful day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 69/38. Traffic was so-so due to MoW work. Was actually able to catch three trains in the backyard while all the MoW equipment was absent from the backyard, but that didn't last long. Might possibly take a few days off until MoW work is done. Here are some of the trains from today and a few from yesterday.

1. BNSF H1 1090 in the head-end mix of EB 239pm grain train.
2. EB 502pm grain train with BNSF 7460-6349 and UP 3791 on the point. Thanks Ted!

Hey Larry, some of us like MOW work and equipment. Perhaps some shots of the gang at work?.?, close ups of the equipment? Also noticed a few days ago a road/path cut into the hill behind your house to get down to the tracks, do you know what that's for?

Hi John,

I try not to get too close to the MoW equipment with the camera as not to annoy the workers. The road path might be for easier access to signal boxes and switch and track maintenance.
