Looking Back Several Days On The Northern Transcon

It has been a muggy partly cloudy to cloudy day with some drips in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low is 70/48 so far with .40 of rain. Had to take a rain time-out this afternoon. Traffic has been a bit light so far. Here is a look back at the last couple of days and a few from today.

5/18/2018

1. EB 326pm manifest train with BNSF 8389-H1 1106-5023 on the point with a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
2. DPU Warbonnet 790 on same train.
3. EB 404pm manifest train with BNSF 7931-4793, CSXT 3162 and green and cream 9625 on the pull.

5. WB 428pm oil train with CP 9595 and BNSF 6558 on the point with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
6. DPU's CP 8552-8557 on same oil train.

7. WB 548pm coal train with BNSF 6233,CREX 1323 and BNSF 9120 on the pull with DPU under a dark stormy sky.
8. DPU BNSF 9353 on same train.

9. WB 1101am manifest train with BNSF 8156-7360-5090 on the point.

10. The End of same train with Herzog work train bringing up the rear.
11. WB 1148am coal train with BNSF 5972, green and cream 9622 and BNSF 9859 on the pull with DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.

13. WB 214pm ethanol train with BNSF 7674-3994 on the point with DPU.
14. DPU CREX 1316 on same train.

15. EB 1124am manifest train with BNSF 4108, NS 6961, CSXT 703 and BNSF 7674-8213 on the pull with DPU.

22. EB 144pm grain train with BNSF 7172-4575-6297 on the pull, no DPU in the rain.
23. Rain time out at 200pm and still dripping at 255pm.

Nice catches over the days. Sure is a lot of nice foreign power you have seen lately. Looks like the AirStream over by the grocery storehas been taken out of winter storage now.
