In a world of sun and shadows.
Author: DonWinslow

Shooting in deep mountain passes and canyons, it can be a challenge for the camera to handle the contrast difference between shadows and bright sun. Sometimes ya get lucky.
1. Cajon in the Cajon Pass.
2. Cajon in the Cajon Pass.
3. Swarthout Canyon in the Cajon Pass.

Very Nice Photos Don, you even captured some of those Shade Trees in the background on that last two photos.

Not only is it a challenge for the camera its a challenge for you to stand upright and hold the camera steady. Well something must be working for you as they are nice shots.

Don ---
Those are great photos, all of 'em, ad I really like the last one, with all those beautiful DEEP GREEN TREES -- so pretty, and so inviting for a weary traveler to rest in their cool shade.

(photobob -- are you reading this? Imagine THAT --beautiful DEEP GREEN TREES -- and a LOT of them! -- down there in what you were certain was a DESERT! Will wonders never cease? nuyk! nyuk! nyuk! < G > )

Thanks all.Geezer, pay attention to the other posters. They could see the trees, even if you cant.
