Western Railroad Discussion > KCS old school freight trainDate: 06/18/18 20:20 KCS old school freight train Author: KB5WK KCS 2812 - 2810 ... I was on the way to work and heard the KCS eastbound LWY101 get permission to enter the Form B at Plano Parkway in Plano TX. So I got in position with the drone and my iPhone 8 plus and caught this eastbound heading to Wylie yard on Thursday June 14, on the KCS Alliance sub, former Cotton Belt line.
This area is under construction to widen the lanes to make it easier to get on to the George Bush tollway. Its been gridlock city since the explosion of growth with the DFW area growing leaps and bounds. Thanks to the constructions. All KCS trains have to get permission to enter this area so they can get men and equipment in the clear. Great use of the drone as a "portable overpass." Date: 06/19/18 12:42 Re: KCS old school freight train Author: UP951West Enjoyed your drome shots. Thanks for posting Texas subjects.
