Caught a work train yesterday morning coming south into Eugene and then down the Cascade line. I was worried thinking they needed more work to clear the tunnel - there was everything from high rail trucks to cranes to huge track machinery. Later I was happy to hear several southbound trains so all is open now. Congratulations to the UP MOW crews - you guys really turned it up to 11!
What is cool is the C40-8W in fresh paint second in consist.
