A couple of drone shots of DGNO 9486 SD45R at McKinney TX. Rare to catch something moving on the rails in this town.

The DGNO crew are done working the Encore Wire Plant and shoving back on 06/02/2018.

Have a severe dislike of the speed lettering imposed following the takeover by Rio Grande. To me it signifies the acceleration of the demise of SP.

I always thought it was a nice way of classing up an ailing railroad's 30-year-old image... Speed-lettered units were also usually cleaner than the ones in the older paint...

I am guessing that the DGNO has trackage rights over the BNSF from Carrolton to Sherman?

Nope. They only have rights from Sherman to MP 650 (5 miles south of Sherman) and from MP 700 (Carrollton) to Irving although technically that segment is actually across DART trackage as BNSF owned track ends at MP 700.

BNSFDS
