Western Railroad Discussion > Light power variety on BNSF in Seattle 7-12-18Date: 07/15/18 19:51 Light power variety on BNSF in Seattle 7-12-18 Author: BrianA Caught this set of light power headed north in Seattle Thursday 7-12-18. BNSF 1758/2516/1069/2619/294/3035/GN 3439 (SD40-2/GP39-2/C44-9W/GP39-2/SD75I/GP40X/SW1500) is your motive power. Going by the exhaust the 1758 is piutting out those trailing units must be giving it quite the workout!

You bet! At one time we had the 1758 and 3439 in Klamath Falls. For a while they were mated up and instead of using the remotes I got to run them. Quite the odd couple lol. I like that 1758, it’s one of the nicest SD40-2’s around in original colors. |
