Progressive Rail has come up with the St. Paul & Pacific as the new name for the line between
Watsonville Jct. and Davenport, CA that it will soon begin operations on.  Not sure how they
are going to plug that 2000+ mile gap between near the Twin Cities and Watsonville Jct........

Page 9 of the attached document lists potential shippers on the line but does seem to exclude Big
Creek Lumber in Watsonville.

Apparently the headquarters is just outside of St Paul, Minnesota. Somewhat creative but suggests not well 'grounded' in the Santa Cruz location...and politics.

Wish them well though.

I think somebody needs to come up with a NEW name for Progressive Rail period! The reason being is there ANYTHING but progressive!

Dug through the report and it looks like the handover date is targeted for August 16th.

With what equipment? Lease a loco from UP?
