Thr carrier says we aren’t running any trains on the Oregon Trunk due to the “substation fire”. See the other thread for more detailed info. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up we are planning to reroute the H-BARPAS this evening on the UP with a UP crew. I suspect there will be more to follow the next couple days.

Wildcad shows a 60 acre reported at 4pm just east of the city of Wishram! More bad news for that area. Another large fire has I-90 shut down east of Ellensburg, WA near the MILW Renslow trestle.

There was a HBARPAS reported near Deschutes on the Trunk this evening...how is that going to get rerouted? Wouldn't it have to return to Chemult to get onto the UP's Cascade line? Or is there another one between KFalls and Chemult.

Should we expect to see a reroute thru Salem, Oregon tonite or tomorrow?

And what about the Van-Bar?

The BARPAS I mentioned was departing Klamath Falls. I would suspect it is in the valley now. We are up and running on the OT as of right now though. There is a back log of trains now as can be expected if I hear of any new developments of interest I will mention it.

Oh geez. At this point it just seems like a matter of when and where the next one is going to pop up.
