Western Railroad Discussion > Chasing a Bluebird HomeDate: 07/20/18 17:40 Chasing a Bluebird Home Author: mg8711 After chasing UP 1982 west to Ike Siding a couple of weeks ago ( https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,4592983,4592983#4592983 ) I chased its opposition for a meet east, UP train MSIKC-06 with CEFX 1050, an AC4400CW on long term lease to Canadian Pacific, back home to Manhattan, KS.
1) CEFX 1050, leading train MSIKC-06 approaches Fawn Road west of Abilene, KS 2) Jeep Road, east of Abilene. 3) Rolling through Chapman, passing their "Fighting Irish" sign. 5) Passing 56th Avenue, just east of Ogden, but right across from Manhattan Regional Airport. 6) Parting ways, the CEFX 1050 passes under KS Highway 177, and an abandoned car lot.
