I have never had seen the Kansas & Oklahoma Railroad in person whenever I'm in Kansas. Last year, I decided to stop in McPherson, KS and see what I could find. I lucked out and there was power parked east of the depot and another pair of units sitting a block south of the K&O yard.

I worked the Sand Creek ~ McPherson local a few times. Also worked the gas racks at Conway, plus a work train all the way out to Ellinwood. Good (but fading) memories from my Santa Fe days...
