5 Eastbound UP Officer's Special lead by 1943. 6 Westbound empty UP coal lead by UP 8392 got its turn at the tunnel as the snow picked up. It had been waiting for over an hour at Tolland for UP Officer's Special to pass. Kansas City Southern 4600 was one of the 6 locomotives. Thanks for the most excellent posts! Date: 10/11/18 19:57 Re: Today at the east portal of the Moffat Tunnel Author: Bnagelcolo16 Only power on the front of the train. This is standard on the empty coal trains running on the Moffat. When they come back loaded they will be 2X2X2 or 2X3X1.
