Bridge Replacement at Pinecliffe, CO

UP is undertaking a bridge replacement over South Boulder Creek at Pinecliffe, CO.  Railroad calls location Cliff.  CNWX 262100 pile driver was helping out.  UP Moffat Tunnel line October 11, 2018.  -No sound-

Did the workers get nervous having your drone flying around?  You know, Big Brother is watching and all that.

Your photo is a very clear illustration of how RRs build new bridges while still running traffic on the old bridge.
The fresh wood boards have boxed out the area where new piles will be driven.  Pile driving is somewhat unpredictable so this can all be done before traffic is shut down to rip out the old bridge and the new caps and girders set on those piles.
