Western Railroad Discussion > Late Night snow, CP in Milwaukee after Beecherfest

Exiting rail program show "Beecherfest"  in Oak Creek south of Milwaukee I was greeted by 20 degree temp and light but swirling snow.  Before heading home I headed over to Amtrak station to catch late Friday only Amtrak arrival.  That attempt failed but I did catch this eastbound CP train  through the Amtrak station about to cross the Menominee River directly east of the station. The 1904 Through Truss bridge crosses the Menominee at the confluence of the Menominee and the Milwaukee River.

November 9th evening featured a remarkable set of rail programs at Beecherfest.

Snow even a coating makes a big difference.   About 1.5 stop push in PS and some color correction.
The post office is to my back and there was lighting help

Bob......absolutely great “atmospheric” shot...... it is rare that a photo captures a true feeling, one where the other senses get into the act. Good job!!!!
